The Opportunity:
A school is seeking a dedicated Native English-speaking Physical Education Teacher and Coordinator for Primary and Secondary levels. This role involves teaching PE, building school sports teams, and organizing inter-school events, with an emphasis on creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Physical Education to students from Kindergarten to Grade 7, focusing on fitness, coordination, teamwork, and skill development.
- Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students.
- Develop and manage school sports teams, promoting physical activity and healthy competition.
- Organize and coordinate inter-school sports events and competitions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support school initiatives and programs.
- Implement and follow school policies and procedures for student safety and behavior.
- Provide feedback and support to students to enhance their physical and social development.
- Stay updated on best practices in physical education and sports coaching.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Native English speaker with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Kinesiology, or related fields.
- Proven experience teaching at the upper primary or lower secondary level.
- Strong classroom and field management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and support school initiatives.
Preferred
- Experience in international schools.
- Coaching certifications.
- Experience with curriculum development and sports program management.
