Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative Physical Education lessons tailored to the needs of students across the 11-18 age range.
- Contribute to the teaching of vocational courses in Sports Studies and GCSE Physical Education.
- Support the delivery of the Level 3 Extended Technical qualification in Sport and Physical Activity.
- Inspire students to reach their full potential through challenging and motivating teaching practices.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the school’s extra-curricular programme.
- Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and student welfare in all aspects of teaching.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a strong background in Physical Education.
- Experience teaching at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Awareness of safeguarding children and student welfare.
Preferred
- Experience teaching the Level 3 Extended Technical qualification in Sport and Physical Activity.
- Experience with extra-curricular sports programmes.
- A passion for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
- Experience with vocational courses in Sports Studies.
