This role offers the chance to be part of an all-through school, with potential teaching responsibilities across Nursery to Year 6.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Physical Education lessons to students of all ages.
- Coach a range of team sports and lead away fixtures and competitions.
- Contribute to the co-curricular life of the school through extracurricular activities and events.
- Support the development of students’ physical, social, and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with other teachers and departments to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of lessons that align with the school’s educational goals.
- Monitor and assess student progress in PE and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and achievement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience.
- Experience in teaching Physical Education and GCSE-level PE.
- Confidence in coaching team sports and leading competitions.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and dynamic school environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the school’s mission and values.
Preferred
- Experience working in an all-through school setting.
- Background in coaching or leading extracurricular sports teams.
- Experience with Nursery to Year 6 teaching.
