The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons across key stages 3 and 4, promoting physical wellbeing and personal development.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in sport and physical education.
  • Contribute to the school’s extracurricular sporting programme and wider academy life.
  • Support the Christian ethos and values of the school in all aspects of teaching and student interaction.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to provide a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school’s educational goals.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive culture that encourages student participation and success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in physical education.
  • Ability to teach PE across key stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to the Christian ethos of the school.
  • Passion for inspiring students and promoting physical wellbeing.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching GCSE dance.
  • Early career teacher (ECT) with a desire for professional growth.
  • Experience in extracurricular sports or leadership roles.
