Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons across key stages 3 and 4, promoting physical wellbeing and personal development.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in sport and physical education.
- Contribute to the school’s extracurricular sporting programme and wider academy life.
- Support the Christian ethos and values of the school in all aspects of teaching and student interaction.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to provide a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school’s educational goals.
- Promote a positive and inclusive culture that encourages student participation and success.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in physical education.
- Ability to teach PE across key stages 3 and 4.
- Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to the Christian ethos of the school.
- Passion for inspiring students and promoting physical wellbeing.
Preferred
- Experience teaching GCSE dance.
- Early career teacher (ECT) with a desire for professional growth.
- Experience in extracurricular sports or leadership roles.
