The Opportunity:

As a Physical Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in promoting health, fitness, and teamwork among students. You will design and deliver engaging lessons that align with the school’s curriculum, while also leading the school’s sports and extra-curricular programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to the age group
• Deliver high-quality instruction using a variety of teaching methods
• Ensure compliance with relevant curricula and assessment procedures
• Provide differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs and abilities
• Organize and lead sports events, competitions, and outdoor activities
• Support the school’s pastoral care and student welfare initiatives
• Maintain a tidy and well-organized PE environment and manage equipment
• Collaborate with colleagues in planning and delivering school-wide activities
• Build strong relationships with parents and the wider school community
• Participate in professional development and appraisal processes

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in education with a Diploma in Sports Science, or a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science with a Teaching certificate
• 2 to 5 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in a school environment

Preferred

• Experience in delivering sports and extra-curricular programs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff
• Knowledge of international curricula such as the IB or IGCSE
• Experience in classroom management and student assessment
