The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Physics Teacher to join a dynamic and successful secondary science department. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' learning and potentially lead the department. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver high-quality A-level Physics and embrace innovative teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Physics lessons to students at GCSE and A-level.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with international standards.
  • Utilize modern technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student progress and achievement.
  • Contribute to the wider science department through planning, assessment, and professional development.
  • Provide pastoral support and mentorship to students where appropriate.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Physics education and pedagogy.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Physics teacher with experience in international education.
  • Ability to teach Physics at A-level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Physics.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to student success and continuous professional development.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading a science department or similar role.
  • Familiarity with the British education system and international qualifications.
  • Experience with technology integration in the classroom.
  • Spanish language skills or experience working with bilingual students.
