Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular learning experiences.
  • Support students with diverse learning needs, including those with special educational needs.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress in line with school standards.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and participate in school events and activities.
  • Stay up to date with national and international educational policies and best practices.
  • Use innovative and resourceful teaching methods, including the effective use of IT tools.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Primary School Teacher with a good degree, including PGCE or its equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to communicate it effectively to students.
  • Commitment to providing the best possible educational experience for all children.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality record.
  • Ability to differentiate teaching and support SEN-inclusive practice.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and the use of IT in education.
  • Understanding of international educational policies and issues.
  • Experience working with bilingual students.
  • Confidence in inspiring high achievement in students from diverse backgrounds.
