Key Responsibilities:
- Develop schemes of work and lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives
- Foster effective relationships with pupils to facilitate engaging and inclusive learning
- Maintain and organise learning resources to support effective teaching
- Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes student well-being
- Support the development of social and life skills in students
- Assess student progress and prepare pupils for national tests
- Build on students’ prior learning to challenge and inspire them to deepen their understanding
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant teaching experience
- Strong subject knowledge in primary education
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture
Preferred
- Experience with early career teachers (ECTs)
- Experience in curriculum development
- Familiarity with inclusive teaching practices
- Experience with assessment and recording of student progress
