The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver innovative and engaging lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student achievement and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Support the development of literacy and numeracy skills, including the use of DFE-recognised phonics programmes and the CPA approach.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school by leading and participating in extra-curricular activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality teaching experience for all students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning and development.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
  • Stay up to date with educational research and best practices in primary education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified to teach in Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, or both.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching the UK National Curriculum.
  • Strong knowledge of early years literacy and numeracy development.
  • Experience with DFE-recognised phonics programmes and early maths mastery using the CPA approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

  • Experience in an international school setting.
  • Leadership experience in extra-curricular activities.
  • Familiarity with Cambridge International and Pearson Examinations.
  • Experience with teaching English as a Second Language.
