Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in the classroom, assisting with learning activities and ensuring engagement.
• Help develop students’ independence through structured guidance and encouragement.
• Participate in weekly planning meetings to contribute to lesson planning and delivery.
• Assist with phonics groups, emergent writing, and the use of CPA apparatus in Mathematics.
• Work as part of a team to support teaching and administrative tasks.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Demonstrate initiative and a forward-thinking approach to all responsibilities.
• Carry out administrative duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A relevant teaching or education qualification.
• Experience in supporting phonics groups and emergent writing.
• Experience with the use of CPA apparatus in Mathematics.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

• Experience working in an international school setting.
• Experience with the British curriculum.
• Experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
• Familiarity with Cambridge International and Pearson Examinations.
