The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to provide high-quality teaching and support during a maternity cover period. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire a love for learning
  • Assess and track pupil progress to ensure every child achieves their full potential
  • Create an inclusive and welcoming learning environment for all students
  • Model positive behaviour and uphold safeguarding and child protection standards
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support school-wide initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and staff to ensure a positive learning experience
  • Maintain accurate records and report on pupil progress and attainment
  • Support the implementation of the school’s curriculum and teaching strategies

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with valid QTS or equivalent
  • Proven experience in primary education
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection

Preferred

  • Experience with Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
  • Familiarity with the Everyday Development (EDD) Framework
  • Experience in a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting
  • Strong track record in supporting pupil progress and achievement
