The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to provide high-quality teaching and support during a maternity cover period. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire a love for learning
- Assess and track pupil progress to ensure every child achieves their full potential
- Create an inclusive and welcoming learning environment for all students
- Model positive behaviour and uphold safeguarding and child protection standards
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support school-wide initiatives
- Communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and staff to ensure a positive learning experience
- Maintain accurate records and report on pupil progress and attainment
- Support the implementation of the school’s curriculum and teaching strategies
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with valid QTS or equivalent
- Proven experience in primary education
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
Preferred
- Experience with Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
- Familiarity with the Everyday Development (EDD) Framework
- Experience in a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting
- Strong track record in supporting pupil progress and achievement
