As a KS2 Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping young minds aged 7–11, delivering engaging lessons that promote critical thinking and a lifelong love of learning. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a supportive and dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, interactive lessons that align with the National Curriculum.
- Monitor and support the academic progress of students through effective assessment and differentiation.
- Implement and maintain a consistent and fair behaviour policy across the classroom.
- Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding student progress and wellbeing.
- Develop and update schemes of work that reflect current educational best practices.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching strategies and student outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Promote a culture of independence, resilience, and curiosity among students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status and a relevant degree.
- Experience in the primary phase, including planning, assessment, and teaching the National Curriculum.
- Experience in applying positive behaviour strategies.
- Strong ICT skills and understanding of Assessment for Learning.
- Commitment to safeguarding and ability to comply with child protection procedures.
Preferred
- Experience in working with diverse student groups.
- Background in leading or contributing to school improvement initiatives.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Involvement in extracurricular activities or community engagement.
