Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and maintain high standards of teaching.

  • Stay up to date with current developments in Religious Studies and incorporate relevant resources into teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Religious Studies or a related subject.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
  • Ability to plan and deliver effective, engaging lessons.
  • Experience in working within a school or educational setting.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching at the secondary level.
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum for Religious Studies.
  • Experience in developing and leading extra-curricular activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a Multi-Academy Trust environment.
  • Experience in supporting student pastoral and social development.
