Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive Economics lessons aligned with the Global Cambridge Curriculum.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and school counsellors to support student academic and personal development.
  • Utilize technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
  • Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.
  • Stay updated with current economic trends and integrate real-world examples into lessons.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor of Education degree in Physics Education/PGCE or equivalent.
  • Teaching license/qualification from the UK, CA, US, AU, NZ, IR, or SA.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching Economics or a related subject.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and international setting.

Preferred

  • Experience with the Cambridge International Curriculum.
  • Familiarity with differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Previous experience working in international schools or overseas.
