As a Secondary PE Teacher, you will play a key role in promoting physical wellness, character development, and a lifelong love of learning. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver clear, well-organized lessons aligned with school standards and students’ developmental needs.
- Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners and use assessments to monitor and guide student growth.
- Create a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment that supports learning and positive behavior.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in professional learning, team collaboration, and the school improvement process.
- Support the mission, vision, values, and Expected Student Outcomes of the school.
- May assist with student support and/or Bible class teaching responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
- Valid teacher certification or licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of successful classroom teaching experience.
- Commitment to Christian education and ability to integrate faith into teaching and community life.
- Alignment with the school’s mission, vision, and values.
Preferred
- Experience in international or multicultural school settings.
- Experience using standards-based curriculum and assessment practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
