The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary PE Teacher (Netball Specialist) to deliver high-quality PE lessons and lead netball programs for students at I/GCSE, A Level, and BTEC. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons across a range of academic levels.
  • Develop and lead a successful netball program, including training and competition.
  • Attend weekend and after-school fixtures and tournaments to support student development.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and events.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the overall student experience.
  • Support the school’s mission to promote curiosity, imagination, and independence in learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A B.ED or degree and PGCE or equivalent with strong subject knowledge in PE.
  • Proven experience in creating a caring and supportive atmosphere in the classroom.
  • Demonstrated commitment to student well-being, social development, and academic progress.
  • Ability to contribute positively to the life of the school beyond the classroom.

Preferred

  • Experience in coaching or leading a netball team at a competitive level.
  • Previous experience in a British curriculum school or international school setting.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience with sports fixtures and tournaments.
  • Knowledge of I/GCSE, A Level, and BTEC PE curricula.
