Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
  • Develop and implement engaging extra-curricular sports and physical activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall student experience and school culture.
  • Support the school’s commitment to community engagement through active participation in events and initiatives.
  • Monitor and assess student progress in physical education and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and students to ensure alignment with educational goals.
  • Stay up to date with best practices in physical education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A BEd or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding learning and teaching in a school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to engage in the school’s extra-curricular and community-based activities.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching within an international school environment.
  • Previous involvement in leadership or mentoring roles within education.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TEFL/TESOL).
  • Familiarity with British Schools Overseas (BSO) accreditation and standards.
