The Opportunity:
A school is seeking a passionate and committed Spanish and Italian Teacher to join its team from August 2026. This role offers the chance to inspire students and contribute to a vibrant, multicultural educational community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Spanish across Middle and/or Secondary School year groups
- Plan and deliver engaging, communicative, and student-centred lessons
- Support students in developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
- Prepare students for internal and external assessments
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Contribute to curriculum planning and development within the languages department
- Engage positively with parents and the wider school community
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including trips and cultural activities
- Uphold safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree in Spanish, Languages or a related field
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Spanish at school level
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A passion for language learning and cultural education
- A collaborative and student-centred approach
- Legal right to live and work in Italy (EU passport or valid work permit)
Preferred
- Ability to teach Italian (required for full-time role)
- Experience in an international school setting
- Experience preparing students for external examinations
- Native or near-native Spanish proficiency
