The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our committed and collaborative Humanities/MFL team. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student learning and achievement, while working in a school that values teacher development and student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Spanish lessons that inspire and engage students at both KS3 and KS4.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student progress and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Humanities/MFL team to maintain and enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students in line with the school's RISE values.
- Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Participate in departmental meetings, staff training, and professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum.
- Support students in preparing for examinations and assessments.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Relevant teaching experience in Spanish at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge in Spanish.
- Commitment to the school's RISE values: Respect, Independence, Service to Community, and Empathy.
- Experience in delivering both KS3 and KS4 Spanish curricula.

- Experience with Edexcel qualifications.
