Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and rigorous Spanish lessons to Senior School students.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced linguists to maintain high academic standards.
- Support students’ pastoral well-being as a Form Tutor.
- Lead or assist in co-curricular activities such as language clubs and cultural events.
- Prepare and assess students for IGCSE and IBDP Spanish qualifications.
- Foster a love of language and culture through immersive teaching methods.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
- Contribute to the school’s mission of academic excellence and holistic education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Spanish at the Senior School level.
- Strong knowledge of IGCSE (Cambridge) and IBDP Spanish B or Ab Initio curricula.
- Proven ability to deliver inspiring and effective language instruction.
- Commitment to student well-being and pastoral care.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or supporting co-curricular activities related to language and culture.
- Familiarity with the IB Diploma Programme and Cambridge IGCSE.
- Fluency in Spanish and an interest in cultural exchange.
- Experience in a British International school or similar setting.
