Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to a culture of continuous professional development.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Science education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
  • Support extracurricular activities and initiatives that enhance student engagement and learning beyond the classroom.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in meetings, events, and other school-related activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in teaching Science at the appropriate level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver high-quality lessons.
  • Commitment to student achievement and a passion for Science education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
  • Familiarity with current pedagogical trends and research in Science education.
  • Experience in mentoring or supporting other teachers.
  • Strong leadership potential and the ability to take on additional responsibilities.
