Key Responsibilities:
- Support learning and development by building confidence, communication, and independence in pupils.
- Prepare and assist with engaging, creative activities that bring lessons to life.
- Provide individualised support tailored to each pupil’s unique needs and goals.
- Promote a calm, caring, and safe environment that nurtures wellbeing.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver the best outcomes for pupils.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified with GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Passionate about supporting children with autism and complex needs
- Resilient, patient, and empathetic, even on challenging days
Preferred
- Experience in education, care, or support roles
- Adaptable and eager to learn, with a positive, can-do attitude
