Key Responsibilities:
- Support learning in the classroom and during off-site activities
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils who need consistency
- Apply trauma-informed strategies to support emotional regulation
- Adapt learning to meet individual EHCP outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and the Inclusion Team
- Accurately record progress, behaviour, and safeguarding concerns
- Promote independence, confidence, and a sense of belonging
- Maintain clear boundaries with warmth and consistency
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Level 2 English and Maths or willingness to undertake
- Calm, caring, and emotionally resilient
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and professional integrity
- Valid driving licence
Preferred
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs
- Background in trauma-informed practices
- Experience with special educational needs
- Experience in outdoor learning environments
