Key Responsibilities:

  • Support learning in the classroom and during off-site activities
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils who need consistency
  • Apply trauma-informed strategies to support emotional regulation
  • Adapt learning to meet individual EHCP outcomes
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and the Inclusion Team
  • Accurately record progress, behaviour, and safeguarding concerns
  • Promote independence, confidence, and a sense of belonging
  • Maintain clear boundaries with warmth and consistency

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Level 2 English and Maths or willingness to undertake
  • Calm, caring, and emotionally resilient
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and professional integrity
  • Valid driving licence

Preferred

  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs
  • Background in trauma-informed practices
  • Experience with special educational needs
  • Experience in outdoor learning environments
