The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Science across Key Stage 3 and GCSE to students of all abilities.
- Deliver engaging and innovative lessons that promote student progress and attainment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the development of the Science department.
- Participate in all aspects of school life, including extracurricular activities and pastoral support.
- Monitor and assess student performance to ensure consistent progress.
- Stay up to date with curriculum developments and best practices in Science education.
- Support students in developing a love for Science and a curiosity for the subject.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of departmental initiatives and events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant Science degree.
- Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and GCSE level.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to student wellbeing and personal development.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative.
Preferred
- Experience in a school with a strong academic record.
- Experience with flexible working arrangements.
- Specialist knowledge in any area of Science.
- Experience in a school judged "Good" or "Outstanding" by Ofsted.
