The Opportunity:

As a Bank Teacher, you will contribute to a dynamic and supportive learning environment, delivering high-quality education to students with diverse needs. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and teach individual students or small groups in line with the school’s curriculum and policies.
  • Monitor and report on student progress to support learning and development.
  • Contribute to school improvement initiatives and the implementation of the School Development Plan.
  • Promote the academic, social, and emotional development of students.
  • Support the design and implementation of learning environments and individualised learning plans.
  • Coordinate teaching, assessment, and reporting across subjects and key stages.
  • Develop and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Individual Behaviour Plans (IBPs) in collaboration with colleagues.
  • Organise classroom resources and displays to create an engaging learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
  • Experience in delivering secondary national curriculum subjects to learners with SEND
  • A passion for inclusive, pupil-centred education
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Preferred

  • Experience working in a special needs or SEMH setting
  • Familiarity with evidence-based teaching approaches
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
