Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality English lessons across secondary year groups
• Support students in developing academic writing, literary analysis, and communication skills
• Prepare students for external assessments and A Level English examinations
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement effective teaching strategies
• Engage and challenge students of varying abilities in a supportive learning environment
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly
• Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives
• Contribute to the development of the English curriculum

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified in English, English Literature, or a related field with a recognized teaching credential
• Minimum of two years of full-time teaching experience at the secondary level
• Experience teaching English in an international school setting
• Strong knowledge of A Level English curriculum and assessment requirements
• Ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons to a range of abilities

Preferred

• Experience with IB and A Level English programmes
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in developing and delivering academic writing and critical thinking modules
