The Opportunity:
We are seeking an Admin Assistant to join our dynamic team and contribute to the smooth running of our school. This role is essential in ensuring the school operates efficiently, while supporting students and staff in a positive, structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage front of house duties, including answering calls, responding to emails, and greeting visitors.
- Ensure the safety and security of students by monitoring出入 and accompanying them when leaving the school.
- Coordinate with staff and senior leadership to support communication with parents and carers throughout the day.
- Assist with visitor management, including checking ID, issuing badges, and ensuring compliance with visitor protocols.
- Support the wider team with ad-hoc administrative tasks, ensuring all duties are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming environment at the school’s reception.
- Assist with general office tasks, including filing, data entry, and other administrative duties as required.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the school by following established procedures and systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively.
- Good level of English and Maths.
- Experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within an education setting.
Preferred
- Experience working with young people, particularly those with autism or special needs.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and best practice in child protection.
- Experience with educational or care settings.
- Flexibility and adaptability to support a dynamic and changing environment.
