The Opportunity:
As an Admissions Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting prospective families throughout the admissions process. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, growing team and contribute to delivering an exceptional experience for students and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Head of Admissions and Registrar, including diary management and confidential tasks.
- Act as the main contact for prospective families, responding to inquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and in person.
- Support families through the admissions process from initial enquiry to enrolment, ensuring a positive and seamless experience.
- Maintain and update student databases and records accurately, ensuring compliance with GDPR.
- Help organise and support admissions and marketing events, such as open mornings and private tours.
- Coordinate communication and processes with internal teams, including boarding, finance, academic, and pastoral departments.
- Assist with admissions reporting, student transition processes, and scholarship applications.
- Provide team cover and support when needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience in a similar administrative or customer-facing role.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using office software and database systems.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in an educational or admissions setting.
- Knowledge of GDPR and data protection regulations.
- Experience with event coordination or marketing support.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts.
Compensation & Benefits:
