The Opportunity:

Join a newly opened and growing school to provide technical support for staff, students, and visitors while working towards completing an apprenticeship as a Level 3 IT Technician. This is a developmental role with a strong focus on learning and progression in IT support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line IT support for staff, students, parents, and visitors.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist with the effective use of digital technologies in teaching and learning.
• Contribute to the smooth operation of IT systems and classroom technologies.
• Ensure compliance with data protection, safeguarding, and health and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with the IT services team to resolve user issues efficiently.
• Support the implementation of new technologies across the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Professional communication skills when interacting with staff, students, and external agencies.
• A positive approach to challenge and change, with a focus on student well-being.

Preferred

• Previous experience in IT support or related field.
• Experience with school IT systems or classroom technologies.
• Familiarity with data protection and safeguarding procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits:

• National Minimum Wage - £10.85 in first year of apprenticeship.
• 37 hours a week, 52 weeks per year.
