Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging Art and Photography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Support students in achieving outstanding GCSE results in Art and Photography.
- Collaborate with the Creative Arts faculty to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
- Utilize modern technology and well-equipped facilities to enhance teaching and learning.
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and curriculum planning.
- Provide individualized support to students to help them reach their full potential.
- Maintain and update high-quality teaching resources and schemes of learning.
- Work closely with a dedicated technician and a supportive team to ensure smooth delivery of lessons.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Art and Photography.
- Experience in teaching Art and/or Photography at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Commitment to student progress and inclusive teaching practices.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Preferred
- Experience with GCSE Art and Photography curriculum delivery.
- Background in using digital media and new technologies in teaching.
- Experience in developing and leading CPD sessions.
- Early Career Teacher (ECT) with experience in the RAISE Education Trust ECT programme.
