Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging Art and Photography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Support students in achieving outstanding GCSE results in Art and Photography.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Arts faculty to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
  • Utilize modern technology and well-equipped facilities to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and curriculum planning.
  • Provide individualized support to students to help them reach their full potential.
  • Maintain and update high-quality teaching resources and schemes of learning.
  • Work closely with a dedicated technician and a supportive team to ensure smooth delivery of lessons.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Art and Photography.
  • Experience in teaching Art and/or Photography at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Commitment to student progress and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with GCSE Art and Photography curriculum delivery.
  • Background in using digital media and new technologies in teaching.
  • Experience in developing and leading CPD sessions.
  • Early Career Teacher (ECT) with experience in the RAISE Education Trust ECT programme.
