The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Art Teacher to join our secondary school in Dreieich. This role offers the chance to inspire students through innovative and engaging art instruction, while contributing to a dynamic and supportive educational community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver lessons aligned with the school’s benchmarked curriculum and IB program.
• Design engaging and imaginative lessons that foster student creativity and deepen subject knowledge.
• Integrate digital media into teaching to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Organize, implement, and supervise a variety of class-based art projects and activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop new ideas and improve teaching methodologies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualification as a secondary teacher with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant subject area and teaching certification.
• Proven experience in teaching at the secondary level.
• Working proficiency in English and B2 level German or willingness to attain B2 level within two years.
• Commitment to the school’s pedagogical approach and ongoing professional development.

Preferred

• Experience with the IB curriculum or international education frameworks.
• Familiarity with digital tools and innovative teaching methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
