Summary:

Hort Educator needed for part-time role at a bilingual school in Frankfurt.

The Opportunity:

As a Hort Educator, you will play a key role in the afternoon and holiday programme for primary school students. This position allows you to engage with children in a dynamic, bilingual setting while supporting their development and learning outside of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement engaging after-school activities and clubs for primary school students.
  • Support the organisation and delivery of afternoon care and holiday programme activities.
  • Coordinate and participate in activities during the all-day holiday programme.
  • Ensure the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of children during all programme hours.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other educators to support student learning and development.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for children.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child progress and activities.
  • Adhere to school policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working with primary school children or current or completed training/studies in the social field.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to working in a bilingual and international environment.
  • Very good English language skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in planning and delivering educational activities or clubs.
  • Knowledge of child development and inclusive education practices.
  • Previous experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Familiarity with bilingual education environments.
