Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop teaching and learning across the school.
  • Support the Headteacher in the strategic direction of the school.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning.
  • Manage and develop staff through professional development and performance management.
  • Work collaboratively with the Trust to share best practices and enhance student achievement.
  • Ensure the school maintains high standards in all areas of operation.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Represent the school in a variety of external and internal contexts.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within education.
  • Excellent classroom practice and a strong understanding of pedagogy.
  • Ability to lead and develop staff effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational partnership.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
  • Leadership experience in a primary school setting.
  • Experience in managing and leading school improvement initiatives.
