The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Business Teacher to join a dynamic and growing department. This role presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to the continued success of the Business and Economics curriculum at A Level and GCSE. The successful candidate will be an inspiring educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and helping students achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a full timetable of GCSE and A-Level Business and/or Economics.
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons that promote student achievement and enthusiasm for the subject.
  • Contribute to the continued success of the department through collaborative planning and sharing of best practices.
  • Support students in achieving excellent exam results and positive value-added outcomes.
  • Participate in the House system and contribute to the school’s wide range of co-curricular and sporting activities.
  • Stay up to date with curriculum developments and industry trends in Business and Economics.
  • Provide pastoral support to students as part of the House system.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Business and/or Economics at GCSE and A Level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching and inspiring students.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality lessons and achieve excellent student outcomes.
  • Commitment to working within a team and contributing to the school’s pastoral and academic programmes.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching AQA Business and Economics specifications.
  • Experience with the Edexcel Business GCSE course.
  • Previous experience in a school with a strong academic and co-curricular programme.
  • Experience working in a boarding or day school environment.
