The Opportunity:
As a Business Teacher, you will inspire and educate students aged 14 to 18, helping them achieve outstanding results in Business GCSE and A Level. You will play a key role in shaping the curriculum and supporting students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Business GCSE and A Level to students aged 14 to 18
- Support students in achieving their best possible grades and making excellent progress
- Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the Business curriculum
- Uphold and promote the school’s values of respect, results, and honesty
- Act as a role model and maintain high standards of behaviour and discipline
- Participate in school events, both curricular and extra-curricular
- Contribute to the safeguarding and well-being of students
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and take initiative in your area of influence
- Engage in professional development and appraisal processes
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Business
- Experience teaching Business at GCSE and A Level
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Commitment to the school’s values of respect, results, and honesty
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development
- Familiarity with the latest trends in Business education
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
- Background in safeguarding and student well-being
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
