A Casual English Tutor is needed to support students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, as and when required. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in small groups or one-to-one sessions, as and when required.
• Deliver high-quality English tuition aligned with curriculum standards.
• Monitor and track student progress to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other staff to support student learning and achievement.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
• Participate in school events and initiatives as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in English education.
• Ability to work flexibly and independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to student success and continuous improvement.
• Experience in delivering effective one-to-one and small group tuition.

Preferred

• Experience working in a school within a multi-academy trust.
• Familiarity with the National Curriculum and assessment standards.
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Previous experience in a co-educational setting.
