Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of engaging and effective chemistry lessons to students of all abilities.

  • Work closely with experienced teachers to observe, learn, and apply best practices in the classroom.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love of learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Currently enrolled in or have completed a teacher training program, with a focus on science or chemistry.
  • A strong academic background in chemistry or a related subject.
  • Demonstrated commitment to education and a passion for inspiring students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take initiative when required.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school setting or with working with young people.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technology in education.
  • Experience with curriculum development or lesson planning.
  • Knowledge of science education standards and assessment practices.
