The Opportunity:
As a Physics Teacher Apprentice, you will play a key role in shaping the educational experience of students. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in teaching, while supporting the delivery of high-quality instruction in a dynamic and innovative learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of engaging and effective physics lessons to students of all abilities.
- Work closely with experienced teachers to develop teaching skills and classroom management techniques.
- Assist in the planning and preparation of lesson resources and materials.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and a love of learning.
- Participate in professional development and training sessions to enhance teaching practice.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s mission of academic excellence and student success.
- Contribute to the assessment and feedback of student progress in line with statutory requirements.
- Engage in school-wide initiatives that promote student well-being and personal development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Currently enrolled in or have completed a teacher training program.
- Strong academic background in physics or a related subject.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching and a commitment to student development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and take direction from experienced staff.
Preferred
- Experience in classroom teaching or educational support roles.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technologies.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment practices.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
