The Opportunity:

As Chief Executive Officer, you will lead the strategic direction of a dynamic Multi-Academy Trust, driving improvement, innovation, and leadership development. This is a pivotal role in shaping the future of education for thousands of pupils and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the Trust’s strategic direction to ensure sustainable growth and educational excellence.
  • Oversee all aspects of the Trust’s performance, including educational standards, financial health, and external partnerships.
  • Drive curriculum innovation, inclusion, and teaching standards across all schools.
  • Provide high-level leadership and management to ensure the effective use of resources and people.
  • Uphold rigorous financial accountability and ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements.
  • Foster a collaborative workforce, champion professional development, and embed inclusive staff practices.
  • Build external partnerships and act as an ambassador for the Trust, promoting its values and mission.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Significant senior leadership experience within schools or a multi-academy trust.
  • A proven track record of leading successful school improvement strategies and raising standards.
  • Experience working collaboratively across multiple schools or phases.
  • The ability to inspire, mentor, and develop current and aspiring school leaders.
  • A deep commitment to inclusion, equity, and improving outcomes for all pupils.

Preferred

  • Experience in strategic governance and ethical leadership.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial management and risk mitigation.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with a focus on reputation and community engagement.
  • Experience in public benefit and civic duty, including external partnership building.
