Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing targeted support where needed.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement the school’s curriculum.
  • Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and carers to support student learning and well-being.
  • Participate in professional development and school improvement initiatives.
  • Support the school’s vision for excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Manage classroom resources and maintain accurate records of student performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take responsibility for student progress.

Preferred

  • Experience with early career teachers (ECTs).
  • Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
  • Experience in a diverse and inclusive educational setting.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
