Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing targeted support where needed.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement the school’s curriculum.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents and carers to support student learning and well-being.
- Participate in professional development and school improvement initiatives.
- Support the school’s vision for excellence in teaching and learning.
- Manage classroom resources and maintain accurate records of student performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take responsibility for student progress.
Preferred
- Experience with early career teachers (ECTs).
- Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
- Experience in a diverse and inclusive educational setting.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
