Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum, ensuring the needs of all pupils are met.
  • Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of each pupil, including setting and marking homework.
  • Promote the social, emotional, and academic development of students through pastoral care and guidance.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to support student progress and wellbeing.
  • Organize and lead school trips and whole-school events that enhance the learning experience.
  • Develop creative and innovative teaching materials and methods that support effective learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the school.
  • Support the school’s vision by fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status or ECT (Early Career Teacher).
  • Strong knowledge of Key Stage 2 curriculum requirements.
  • Experience in developing teaching resources and pastoral care strategies.
  • Commitment to continuing professional development.
  • Ability to work in a small class setting and provide individualized support.

Preferred

  • Experience with the use of technology in education.
  • Background in creating creative and engaging lesson plans.
  • Experience in a school with a strong focus on pastoral care and inclusion.
