Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum, ensuring the needs of all pupils are met.
- Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of each pupil, including setting and marking homework.
- Promote the social, emotional, and academic development of students through pastoral care and guidance.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to support student progress and wellbeing.
- Organize and lead school trips and whole-school events that enhance the learning experience.
- Develop creative and innovative teaching materials and methods that support effective learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the school.
- Support the school’s vision by fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status or ECT (Early Career Teacher).
- Strong knowledge of Key Stage 2 curriculum requirements.
- Experience in developing teaching resources and pastoral care strategies.
- Commitment to continuing professional development.
- Ability to work in a small class setting and provide individualized support.
Preferred
- Experience with the use of technology in education.
- Background in creating creative and engaging lesson plans.
- Experience in a school with a strong focus on pastoral care and inclusion.
