The Opportunity:

As a Commercial Operations Lead, you will drive profitable growth across multiple programs, ensuring the effective use of facilities and supporting the school’s educational mission. This is a pivotal role for a school focused on innovation and community impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a minimum 5% year-on-year growth in contribution margin across all portfolios.
  • Provide strategic oversight for the Swim School and Holiday Club, including direct line management of key staff.
  • Manage commercial expenditure with a target budget variance of less than 5%.
  • Identify and vet new business leads, securing at least one major strategic partnership annually.
  • Quantify the school’s community impact and lead PR efforts to secure media features.
  • Utilise commercial activities as a pipeline for school recruitment, aiming for a 5% conversion rate on inquiries.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong financial and marketing skills.
  • Experience managing people, budgets, and resources.
  • Ability to assess project viability and implement 3-year business plans.
  • High-level PR and customer service skills to manage relationships with stakeholders.
  • Meticulous approach to safeguarding and health and safety compliance.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing strategic plans.
  • Background in events or facilities management.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Attractive salary of £32,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience).
