The Opportunity:
As an Enrichment Programme Manager, you will lead the design and delivery of a world-class programme of activities, excursions, and workshops for international students. This is a key role in shaping the summer experience, ensuring it is both engaging and safe for all participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and book a comprehensive, age-appropriate programme of excursions, activities, and workshops.
- Produce and maintain the official Activities and Social Programme Booklet and staff Handbook.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of Activities Managers and Leaders.
- Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), completing risk assessments and vetting external providers.
- Oversee the financial and logistical management of the excursion programme, including transport and budget control.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of the social programme throughout the summer.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven leadership or management experience in a summer school, camp, or similar educational setting.
- Strong organisational skills with experience managing complex logistics, budgets, and risk assessments.
- Commitment to student welfare with DSL certification or willingness to obtain training.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to write detailed guides and lead a team.
Preferred
- PGCE in Sports/PE or Level 1 (or higher) coaching qualification.
- Previous experience in a UK-based EFL summer school.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £32,000 - £35,000.
- 30 days holiday allowance plus bank holidays.
