As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the school by supervising student learning, assisting with classroom activities, and maintaining positive behavior standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise student learning during cover periods and ensure adherence to set activities.
• Assist students with tasks and provide support in a classroom environment.
• Uphold standards of behavior and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
• Collaborate with teaching and support staff to deliver effective cover solutions.
• Use a range of ICT tools and software to support day-to-day operations.
• Provide general support to departments as required.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
• Communicate effectively with staff and students to maintain a cohesive learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience in a school or educational setting, ideally with a background in teaching or learning support.
• Strong ICT skills and the ability to use a variety of software packages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage student behavior effectively and maintain discipline.
• Flexibility to work on a part-time, temporary basis during term time.

Preferred

• Previous experience in a Cover Supervisor or similar role.
• Experience with teaching or supporting students in a primary school environment.
• Knowledge of educational frameworks and curriculum requirements.
• Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational organization.
