The Opportunity:

As a Cricket Coach, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cricket sessions to students aged 11 to 19, including both academic and co-curricular activities. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about developing young athletes and fostering a love for the sport. The position runs from April to June 2026 and offers a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and structured cricket coaching sessions to students in Years 7 to 13.
• Lead both academic and co-curricular cricket activities throughout the school year.
• Support students in developing their technical and tactical skills in cricket.
• Organise and manage fixtures, including training sessions and match days.
• Promote a positive and inclusive sporting culture within the school.
• Work closely with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive sports programme.
• Provide feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their performance.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during coaching sessions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified and experienced in cricket coaching.
• Ability to deliver sessions to students across a range of ages and abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to promoting sports and physical education.

Preferred

• Experience working in a school or educational setting.
• Knowledge of youth development and coaching methodologies.
• Experience in managing sports fixtures and events.
• Familiarity with the rules and strategies of cricket at a competitive level.
