The Opportunity:

As a Deputy Head Teacher Primary, you will play a pivotal role in driving academic excellence and student development across the Primary School. You will work closely with the Senior Management team to ensure outstanding outcomes for students, while leading and supporting the mathematics and other curriculum departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive teaching and learning, curriculum development, and overall standards across the Primary School.
  • Ensure curriculum coherence, sequencing, and assessment strategies are aligned with international standards.
  • Lead and manage the mathematics and other specified curriculum departments to maintain high-quality education.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management team to implement innovative approaches to student achievement and development.
  • Support the development of staff through mentoring, training, and professional growth opportunities.
  • Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages student well-being and engagement.
  • Engage effectively with parents, students, and the wider community to build strong relationships and support student success.
  • Ensure compliance with international accreditation, child protection, and health and safety policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in school leadership or management within a primary education setting.
  • PGCE, QTS, or equivalent qualification with leadership certification.
  • Minimum of three to four years of experience in a similar leadership role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in primary pedagogy, curriculum development, and assessment practices.
  • Strong knowledge of international accreditation and inspection frameworks.
  • Experience in child protection, health and safety, and stakeholder relationship management.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering high-quality educational provision.
  • Background in Islamic values and Western educational practices.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience in leading change and driving continuous improvement in education.
