Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to support inclusive education across the primary school.
• Champion equitable access to the curriculum and address barriers to learning.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to support student needs.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of inclusion initiatives.
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff on inclusive teaching practices.
• Work closely with senior leadership to align inclusion strategies with school goals.
• Promote a positive and supportive school environment for all students.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified in SEND or a related field with a minimum of two years teaching experience.
• BEd Degree with QTS or BA in a Primary subject plus PGCE.
• In-depth knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.

Preferred

• Experience in fostering a supportive and caring school environment.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in education.
• Experience with inclusive education practices and strategies.
• Proven ability to contribute to the wider life of the school.
