The Opportunity:
A Design Technology Teacher is needed to deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students in achieving academic success and developing their skills in Product Design. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver consistently high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Inspire and challenge students of all abilities to reach their full potential
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in Product Design
- Collaborate with colleagues to raise standards and improve student outcomes
- Plan, resource, and deliver engaging and effective lessons
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support the wider department in achieving its goals
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Design Technology
- Strong subject knowledge in Product Design
- Experience teaching Key Stages 3 and 4
- Commitment to student progress and academic achievement
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Preferred
- Experience with continuous professional development
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies
- Experience working in a Church of England school or similar setting
- Ability to contribute to the wider department and school community
