The Opportunity:

As a Midday Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and positive environment for students during midday breaks. You will work closely with the team to monitor and support pupil behavior both indoors and outdoors, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that promotes wellbeing and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support pupil behavior during midday breaks to ensure a safe and caring environment.
  • Work both indoors and outdoors to supervise children and young people effectively.
  • Promote positive relationships and wellbeing among students during break times.
  • Collaborate with the school team to maintain a consistent and supportive approach to student supervision.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and wellbeing policies at all times.
  • Support the school's vision and values through daily interactions and supervision.
  • Assist in organizing and managing midday activities that encourage student engagement and learning.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to the leadership team on student behavior and wellbeing.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working with children in a school or care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
  • Flexibility to work during midday breaks and across the school site.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or pastoral role within a school.
  • Knowledge of child development and behaviour management strategies.
  • Experience with safeguarding and wellbeing policies in an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with working within a faith-based school environment.
