The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Drama Teacher to join our team and inspire students through engaging and innovative teaching. This role plays a vital part in shaping the creative and academic development of students in the IGCSE, A-Level, and HKDSE programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality drama lessons in English, ensuring academic excellence and student engagement.
- Develop and submit comprehensive teaching schemes of work with clear instructional targets.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices.
- Maintain strong communication with parents, providing regular updates on student progress and performance.
- Support school activities, including supervision duties, events, and promotional initiatives as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in a relevant subject area.
- Minimum of five years teaching experience in IGCSE, A-Level, HKDSE, or other recognized international curricula.
- Strong understanding of the UK/western higher education systems and the academic needs of international students.
Preferred
- Prior experience in international higher education settings.
- Demonstrated cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
